Hello and welcome to Moto Gear Knowledge – the place on the internet to gather a bunch of information and advice on everything related to moto gear.
About Us
My name is Colton and I’m most the “we” around here.
Moto gear has been my #1 priority when it comes to riding since I’ve seen first hand what not having gear on results in.I’ve had family and friends in horrible, fatal accidents in the past and I refuse to ride without the necessary gear that could save my life.
I’ve been riding for a couple of years now, started on my Kawasaki Ninja 250. Riding gives the ultimate sense of freedom and livelihood that can only be understood by riding… And that’s why I love it.
We Want You To Stay Safe and Look Awesome
That’s why Moto Gear Knowledge was created! There aren’t enough riders that understand why they need gear and which types of gear to look out for to stay the most safe while also looking awesome on your ride.
Moto gear is necessary if you want to live through a crazy accident. In some states it’s the law to wear a helmet and although we don’t think there should be laws like that, we do believe that everyone should wear all of the gear. This includes helmet, jacket, gloves, pants and boots.
Hopefully you’ll find Moto Gear Knowledge useful as you’re researching about moto gear and safety along the way!
The Goal of Moto Gear Knowledge
The purpose of Moto Gear Knowledge is to share information about the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to moto gear.
We do this by sharing reviews, how-to’s, buy guides, top lists and other general posts. We’ll also share posts about different rides, riders and bikes that we think are worth posting.
I’m looking forward to spreading Moto Gear Knowledge with all of you as I gain more knowledge myself!
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
Colton – Founder of Moto Gear Knowledge

What are some security mechanisms or options I could look into for my bike?
Sup, Austin.
I haven’t gotten around to publishing different guides for alarm systems or locks quite yet.
With that, take a look at this post I’ve written on ways to keep your bike safe – it goes over many different precautions to take to waste a thief’s time if they’re trying their best to steal your bike.
Otherwise, I’d also check into the high-rated alarms over on RevZilla here – there are plenty of options for locking your bike up and making it loud and clear that someone is trying to take your bike.
We plan on adding more safety guides in the realm of theft safety, keep your eyes peeled! 👍
Amazing website man! Cant wait to shop for gear once I get my new ride! 🙂
Thanks man, glad you dig it! Always here to help you find gear!
